Northampton Community College strives to prepare members of its community with the knowledge and critical skills they need to adapt to challenges in life and employment. To this end, we help them develop the following abilities: to learn throughout their lives; to change and grow; to develop a depth of knowledge in an area of specialization; to adapt to technological change; to communicate effectively; to collaborate on the job and in life; to understand and value diversity; to be sensitive to the needs and feelings of others and to be contributing members of their communities. We do all this as an affordable open admissions institution that provides students with support services to assist them in achieving their goals.
Northampton Community College Foundation Mission
The Northampton Community College Foundation raises, invests and manages private resources for the benefit of Northampton Community College, its students and staff.
Objectives
1) Raise awareness among current and prospective donors and future Foundation leadership of Northampton Community College, its financial needs and its value to the community.
2) Cultivate individuals, alumni and corporations and prepare them for a significant gift.
3) Grow and fund a more effective fundraising organization.
4) Evaluate funding needs from Northampton Community College and prioritize the use of resources.
5) Manage the Foundation Endowments and Resources.
