Planning and Institutional Research

Welcome to NCC's Plannng and Institutional Research site!
The Office of Planning and Institutional Research is responsible for developing and updating the college’s Strategic Plan, as well as maintaining annual department action plans. We analyze and report enrollment and graduation trends; complete state and federal compliance reports; and monitor demographic, economic, educational and labor market trends in the region. Administrative assessment and evaluation of institutional effectiveness are conducted through the use of performance indicators, national benchmarks, and surveys of students, alumni, faculty, and staff.
Our mission is to ensure that Planning and Institutional Research meets the needs of our customers and that we advance the mission of NCC as a whole. We provide ‘leading edge’ support and research to guide decisions related to access, engagement, and excellence opportunities for the students, faculty, staff and community we serve.
