Graduation Information
Northampton Community College awards degrees, certificates, and specialized diplomas three times throughout the year: May, August, and December.
Apply for Graduation
To have your records reviewed, an Application for Graduation must be completed for each degree, certificate or specialized diploma that you plan to earn from Northampton Community College. Even if you do not plan to participate in a commencement ceremony, you must complete a graduation application to receive your diploma.
Apply Online or submit the Application for Graduation form to the Records Office - Main Campus or the Enrollment Office - Monroe Campus. Complete the application one semester prior to your anticipated graduation (i.e. complete the application during the Fall semester if you plan to graduate in May.)
Commencement Ceremonies (January and May)
August and December graduates are invited to participate in the Winter Commencement ceremony held in late-January. May graduates are invited to participate in the May Commencement ceremony.
Even if you do not plan to participate in a commencement ceremony, you must complete a graduation application to receive your diploma. More information about the ceremony will be sent in the fall to August graduates and December graduation applicants and in the spring to May graduation applicants.
