The weather is warming up and our spring sports are in full swing. The softball team, after a rough start in the spring break tournament, has bounced back and is currently 15 -5 with five sweeps in the past seven double headers. Posting impressive wins over most teams, including scores of 16 – 2 and 18 -5 over Lehigh-Carbon Community College, the Lady Spartans remain a very strong contender in the softball circuit.
The tennis team has improved their record to 5 – 2, recently beating Bucks County Community College 6 -1. The team opened play by winning the doubles point, taking two of the three doubles matches. They continued their domination in singles by sweeping five of the six singles matches. Jon Snyder and Megan Groh remain undefeated in singles, while Groh and Eden Fimiano, and Snyder and Cody Ruff are undefeated in doubles.
The baseball team is currently 0 - 4, but hoping to turn things around during away games on Saturday, April 19, and Monday April 21, against Community College of Philadelphia and Lackawanna College, respectively. The team will return home on Wednesday, April 23, to play a conference game against Lehigh-Carbon Community College.
