Biography: Carolyn, Director of Counseling and Support Services, supervises the staff in Counseling, Act 101, and the Health Center. As the Director of the Act 101 Program, Carolyn supports and encourages the development of programs and activities that address the needs of students of color. She is responsible for educational programming in regards to the effects of dugs and alcohol use and works in collaboration with Residence Life to insure counseling support for resident students.

Biography: Ross's primary role is to work with students who are on academic probation He conducts various academic skills workshops, teaches COUN 101 College Success and interprets career testing. Ross plays active roles in the Alcohol and Other Drug Task Force and the Community Service Committee.

Biography: Ziona,a licensed psychologist, brings 24 years of professional experience to the staff. Ziona's primary role is assisting students with a variety of personal life issues, such as dealing with depression, anxiety, parents, and relationships. She specializes in working with eating disorders and body image issues and is the advisor for the Women's Club of Northampton.

Biography: Elba's primary role is working with Act 101 students to ensure their access to study skills, the learning center, leadership experiences and scholarship opportunities. Elba is co-advisor for the TEAM Act 101 Club and is a member the NCC's Hispanic Caucus. She she serves on various college committees including charring the College Life Committee. Elba is very committed to helping students achieve academic success and serves as a role model for minority students.

Biography: Teresa's primary role at NCC is as a bilingual counselor, Spanish-English. She is a strong advocate for issues dealing with diversity, bilingualism, and the rights of students and staff of color. Teresa is the co-advisor of the TEAM Act 101 Club, organizes programming for Hispanic Heritage Month, co-chairs the Diversity Task Force and serves on various college committees. |

Biography: Virginia's primary role is career counseling, interpretation of career testing, and managing the career library. She coordinates and teaches workshops on various academic skills and on management styles/learning styles using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. She also teaches a career planning course as part of a learning community and advocates for diversity issues on campus.

Biography: Ken's primary responsibility is to serve as the counselor for the Monroe campus. Ken is a certified Drug and Alcohol counselor and works with students in the Act 101 Program. He is the advisor of the Multicultural Club, facilitates a leadership weekend for students, serves on the Alcohol and Other Drug Task Force, and is responsible for bringing various educational/cultural programming to the Monroe Campus.

Biography: Frank has over 25 years of experience as a counselor at NCC. Frank's primary role, as a certified addictions counselor, is to work with students with drug and alcohol issues. As a Act 101 counselor, he supports multicultural programming and works with students in the Act 101 program. Frank is the advisor for the Pan-African Student Causus and plays a key role on the Alcohol and Other Drug Task Force. |
