Who is eligible to enroll and how do I register?
Any employee of a participating organization is eligible to attend each of The Learning Connection workshops. While each workshop has a recommended targeted audience, it is the responsibility of the participating organization to determine the most appropriate fit. How do I find out more about The Learning Connection workshops?

What is the time & location of workshops?
Most workshops will be conducted in Room 605 of the Fowler Family Southside Center, 511 E. Third St, Bethlehem. Please check listing when you register. Workshops are one-day, unless otherwise noted, and are scheduled from 8am-4:30pm. Continental Breakfast is available beginning at 7:30am.

What is the class size?
In order to maintain the personalized teaching methodology of The Learning Connection, the recommended class size is 15-18 participants. We will add additional classes, if necessary, to meet the needs of our clients.

Will I receive written communication before the start of class?
Approximately two weeks prior to the start of a program we will communicate directly with the participant by sending a welcome letter and pre-work (if required). We will communicate with participants by e-mail where appropriate. Dress is business casual and all program materials are provided.

Will I receive CEUs?
Yes, continuing education units are awarded. Each full day program is equal to 0.8 CEUs.

What is the policy regarding meals and dietary restrictions?
A Continental breakfast will be available at 7:30 a.m. in the classroom. Lunch and afternoon refreshments are also provided. Please don't hesitate to call 610-861-5590 if you have any dietary requests. We will be happy to accommodate you.

Does NCC offer discounts for large groups or non-profit agencies?
- Your organization is eligible for a group discount if you enroll "3 or more" participants in the same program, on the same day.
- Special rates apply for non-profit agencies.

Can NCC facilitate workshops on-site for my organization?

What is the invoicing procedure?
Your organization will be invoiced by the college within 2-3 weeks after the class is completed. Please do not send payment prior to receiving the invoice. If the program is WEDnet funded, we will submit the paperwork directly and you will only be invoiced if your WEDnet funding is exhausted.

What is WEDnet funding?
The Leadership Development Institute is an active participant and partner in the WEDnet PA program, providing free training for most non-retail PA businesses. Click on the WEDnet link or call us at (610) 861-5064 for more information.

What is The Learning Connection Cancellation Policy?
- Cancellations received in our office up to one week prior to the start of the program will be accepted and no fee will be charged.
- Cancellations from a week prior to the start of the program until the day before the start of the program will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
- Absentees and/or cancellations on the day of the program will be charged the full fee.
- Substitutes from your organization are gladly accepted. Please let us know in advance who will be attending in your absence.
- If it is necessary for The Learning Connection to cancel a program, it will be done one week prior to the start of the program.

How do I know if workshops are cancelled in case of inclement weather?
If the College is closed due to inclement weather, the Learning Connection workshops will be cancelled. To check on college closings, contact the college at (610) 861-4595, log onto www.northampton.edu or listen to the local radio and television stations.

What are the directions to NCC's Fowler Family Southside Center?
From Route 22:
- Take Route 378 South to the 3rd Street Exit.
- Merge left onto 3rd Street and follow to the 500 block.
- The center is located on the left at 511 E. 3rd St, Bethlehem
- Parking is available in the lot adjacent to the building, as well as the lot directly across the street.
From I-78:
- Take I-78 to the Route 412 North Exit.
- Follow Rt 412 N for several miles (Rt 412 becomes 3rd St in Bethlehem).
- The center is located on the right at 511 E. 3rd St, Bethlehem
- Parking is available in the lot adjacent to the building, as well as the lot directly across the street.
