EMTB/First Responder Continuing Education CREDIT COURSES EMGS 115 Emergency Medical Technician Skills oriented course, involving extensive hands-on training in the evaluation of the sick and injured; fundamental training required for emergency services medical personnel; CPR, preparatory, airway, patient assessment, traumatic injuries, fractures, thoracic injuries, patient immobilization and lifting.  Additional course fees: $13.00.  Credits: 6

EMGS 255 First Responder Training For police, fire and rescue personnel responding to the scene of injury or illness; procedures used to initiate treatment while awaiting arrival of a higher level of care includes but not limited to CPR, shock and bleeding and patient survey.  Additional course fees: $13.00.  Credits: 3 Tuition & Enrollment Tuition is based on residence.  Tuition waivers are available for Northampton County emergency responding agencies only.  Please click here for tuition rates.
