Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is being implemented rapidly and requires that voice, data and video come together to speak the same language. Created by the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), the Convergence Technology Professional (CTP) ensures that companies have skilled employees that can build and maintain applications within the IP market while cross-training data and voice professionals on the new technology. CTP also prepares new employees to work in the industry.
|
