Introduction
The Center for Adult Literacy & Basic Workforce Development provides educational offerings that enable adults to:
- Find employment or advance at work
- Communicate better with others
- Become more involved in their children's education
- Become more involved in their local communities
- Study for the GED or college placement tests
- Deal more confidently with information in their everyday lives
- Understand and keep up with current affairs
- Learn for personal growth and fulfillment

Serving four counties (Northampton, Monroe, Pike and Wayne), the Center for Adult Literacy & Basic Workforce Development offers the following classes free of charge to qualifying adults:
