For Horizons, I teach Geology, Exploring Oceans and Astronomy to 6-9th grades to get them ready for the kind of work that is required in a middle-to-high school science class. I love the outdoors, and my area of expertise lends nicely to field trips! My philosophy of teaching, in short, is to instill a sense of responsibility in my students that will help mold them into successful adults, while learning science at the same time.
