Spartans finish up the season 35-9

It was an exciting trip over the Memorial Day weekend for Northampton Community College's baseball team -- they won an at-large bid that sent them to their first-ever NJCAA Division III World Series on May 28-30 at Pioneer Park in Greeneville, Tennessee.

The #5-seeded Spartans lost to #4 Century College, 11-9, on Saturday morning, but came back on Sunday to down Surry College, 8-2, to stay alive in the series.

Sadly, the Spartans were eliminated on Monday night, falling to #2-seeded Niagara County Community College, 14-1.

The Spartans finished the season 35-9 overall, and 1-2 in their first NJCAA World Series appearance.

Congratulations on a great season, Coach Adrian Yaguez and NCC Spartans Baseball!
