The weather outside is frightful, but the fest is so delightful!
It might have been blustery outside, but that didn’t stop students, faculty and staff for joining in the multicultural holiday celebration on Bethlehem Campus on December 12.
The Quad was packed with people decorating ornaments and writing holiday cards to those who need a little extra cheer this season. As attendees walked around sipping hot cocoa, they learned about cultural celebrations like Ramadan and Diwali, as well as Bodhi. An NCC chorus of students sung carols a capella, using only their hands to snap, clap and make a beat. Everyone indulged in pineapple tarts, saffron buns, cookies and other delicious traditional treats from around the world. A live nativity scene where many came to pet and feed the animals added to the jolly winter festivities outside.
What was the cherry on top? Santa himself was around to take a picture or two with passersby!
