Fall 2021 Continuing Education Programs

Trending Concepts in Dental Hygiene
In 2017, the American Academy of Periodontology and the European Federation of Perio came together to establish guidelines for the classification of periodontal diseases. This course discusses outcomes of that meeting and examines concepts of staging, grading and distribution to classify a patient’s periodontal health, periodontal disease or peri-implant disease. Student poster presentations are also included on relevant topics and trends in oral health; participants will provide feedback to presenters.  All proceeds benefit the RDH program.
