Join us for a special seminar that examines the impact of poor dental hygiene on the overall health of dependent adults. Presented by Angie Stone, RDH, BS, founder, HyLife Oral Health Alliance, the program chronicles her experiences working with dependent adults and what she is doing personally to save elders from "Dying From Dirty Teeth." In addition, she addresses oral care issues facing dependent adults, with a focus on nursing home residents and their primary care givers. This is an amazing presentation that can directly impact the care provided to dependent adults.
Following Angie's presentation, a panel of experts in the field will share their journey and tips for clinical application and successful implementation. An interactive, interprofessional collaboration activity will aid participants in appreciating the varied healthcare roles and perspectives on client oral care as related to overall care.
