The Boy Scouts of America, Minsi Trails Council (MTC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Allentown, PA. The Intern will work directly with The Senior District Executive and his District team to assist in the organization of events, donor engagement, social media strategies, and marketing techniques.
The intern will be given a minimum of one project(s) that will be his/her responsibility to assist with the success of the District Team. A local ceramic center is in need of an artist assistant. The student will help ceramic painters and other class students. This person will be fully trained in all aspects of the PYOP (Paint-Your-Own-Pottery) ceramic business. Learning will include paint types, customer, service, store operations, pouring low-fire ceramic oldsolds, cleaning greenwaregreenware, firing electric ceramic kilns, decorative painting techniques using non-fired acrylic paints, Duncan underglazesunderglazes, and low-fire specialty glazes. General knowledge of ceramic arts is helpful but not necessary. Looking for someone with an eagerness to learn!
