NCC Computer Labs

Are there computer labs I can use on campus this fall?

YES! Northampton Community College has computer labs on all three campuses open for students, by appointment. Students are permitted to reserve a computer for up to 4 hours/day – one reservation per student per day. Due to social distancing restrictions, family members and friends are not permitted with students. Computer labs are only available for actively registered students. They are NOT open to community members.

Bethlehem Campus Locations

College Center, Room 114 - Reserve Now

  • 14 laptop computers with webcams
  • Access to printing
  • Zoom/Blackboard Collaborate sessions permitted; conversations allowed
  • Students must wear a face mask and bring their own headphones (USB connector)

College Center, Room 117 - Reserve Now

  • 14 laptop computers with webcams
  • Quiet computer lab – no video conferencing/conversations (where sound is audible) is permitted
  • Students must wear a face mask and bring their own headphones (USB connector)

Monroe Campus Locations

Keystone Library - Reserve Now

  • 14 computers with webcams
  • Access to printing
  • Zoom/Blackboard Collaborate sessions permitted; conversations allowed
  • Students must wear a face mask and bring their own headphones (USB connector)

Keystone, Room 150 - Reserve Now

  • 8 laptop computers with webcams
  • Quiet computer lab – no video conferencing/conversations (where sound is audible) is permitted
  • Students must wear a face mask and bring their own headphones(USB connector)

Southside Fowler Campus Location

CIE, Room 103 - Reserve Now

  • 2 computers with webcams
  • Zoom/Blackboard Collaborate sessions permitted; conversations allowed
  • Students must face wear a mask and bring their own headphones(USB connector)

What are the computer lab hours?

Week of August 17th for Bethlehem and Monroe Computer Labs

  • Monday and Thursday 8am-4pm
  • Tuesday and Wednesday 8am-4pm
  • Friday 11am-5pm

Starting August 24th for Bethlehem and Monroe Computer Labs

  • Monday and Thursday 8am-4pm
  • Tuesday and Wednesday 8am-8pm
  • Friday and Saturday 11am-5pm

Are there places on campus where I can access the internet using my own device?

YES!
There are tables at both campuses where students can use their own devices – first come, first serve. Due to social distancing restrictions, family members and friends are not permitted with students. All students must wear face masks.

NCC has free Wifi access available from the parking lots on the Bethlehem and Monroe campuses in the following locations:

Bethlehem Campus

  • Reibman Hall parking spots facing Communication Hall (signal weakens on the outer circle spots)
  • T-Building visitors spots between street and sidewalk leading to entrance door
  • Penn Hall staff parking lot (park facing Penn Hall for best signal)

Monroe Campus

  • The entire parking lot in front of Keystone Hall is now flooded with wireless
