Temporary Nurse Aides (TNAs) hired on or before June 6, 2022 have until April 5, 2023, or until the end of the National Public Health Emergency, whichever date comes first, to successfully pass the nurse aide exams and have their name enrolled on the Nurse Aide Registry.
To help prepare your TNAs, NCC is offering an intensive 8 hour skill review class to prepare participants with the skills needed to take the Nurse Aide Assessment Program-Competency Examination (NNAAP) for placement on the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry.
Benefits of attending:
- Students will train with an experienced Nurse Aide Instructor to master the 21 NA Skills as outlined by the PA Dept. of Education.
- Students will have access to skill videos used in the NCC NA classes and will be provided with a copy of the NA Candidate Handbook.
- Small class size (10) enhances learning.
Spring 2023 Classes
All classes will be held at the Fowler Family Southside Center from 8am-4:30pm. Class fee, $299 is due at the time of registration.
In 2021, 90% of NCC NA candidates passed their skills exam on the first attempt.
