We are incredibly excited to meet you! In order to register for classes, new students must attend a mandatory orientation session called Orientation Part 1 - Getting Started: Preparing for Advising and Registration.
- New dual enrollment students are required to complete Orientation Part 1.
- Guest/visiting students are not required to complete Orientation Part 1 but they are strongly encouraged to complete this step.
- All other new students are required to complete Orientation Part 1. Sign up using the form on this web page.

Orientation Part 1 Overview
The orientation at Northampton Community College is a 100% virtual, 60-90 minute Zoom call. You'll learn about sending in your transcripts, completing your FAFSA, logging into your Student Workday account, accessing your NCC email and more. When possible, we recommend& that students join these sessions from a computer or laptop rather than a mobile device.

Important Dates
Spring 2026 course registration is open now. Summer 2026 and Fall 2026 course registration for new and re-admitted students begins March 23. New students can apply for Summer and Fall now.
To register for courses, new students need to attend an orientation and meet with an advisor prior to the registration deadline for each semester. Important requirements for new students are as follows:
- Registration is open now. New students can apply for Spring 2026 now.
- Mid-Spring (9 week session) – attend Orientation Part 1 and register for classes by February 23.
- Spring ACC2 (accelerated 7 week session) – attend Orientation Part 1 and register for classes by March 16.
- Registration for new and re-admitted students begins March 23.
- New students can apply for Summer 2026 now.
- Registration for new and re-admitted students begins March 23.
- New students can apply for Fall 2026 now.
