Despite extensive meta-analysis of Genome-Wide Association Studies (GWAS), the molecular mechanisms underlying genetics of AN and its complications remain unclear. Dr. Nicolas Ramoz will talk about the BDNF gene epigenetics and other factors. AN is a complex neuropsychiatric disorder with Genetic and Epigenetic components that results in reduced food intake combined with alterations in the reward-processing network.
