Plant Sale on Bethlehem Quad
Before we start up The Farm Market at NCC on Wednesday, June 4, we're kicking off with an Herb, Veggie & Flower Plant Sale on Wednesday, May 7 from 10-2.We'll be located on the Quad (Bethlehem campus), right by College Center (see below for parking info - we're working hard to make it convenient to access our market).
Farmer Lauren Hahn from Hahn Acre Bushel & Bloom will have an assortment of herb plant starts, as well as pepper and tomato plants to sell - even if you don't have a garden, they are easy to grow in pots and containers. She'll be there to offer growing tips and advice.
And farmer Steph Beaudry of Beau Flower Farm will be on hand with plants that will grow into beautiful flowers, perfect for cutting. She'll have stock with her to sell but is also taking pre-orders that you can pick up that day (beauflowerfarm.com)
Also at the May 7 market: we're excited to feature baked goods from Bub's Breads, a new SouthSide-based bake shop that we know you're going to love! You can buy coffee beans from Monocacy Coffee, enjoy a complimentary cup of their brew, and of course we'll have our community info table and good conversation to share!
PARKING: Enter the campus at the Green Pond Rd entrance - drive straight ahead to the Student Enrollment Center - turn left to enter the gated lot to park - follow the "Plant Sale" signs to the Quad. We'll give you a token to exit the lot.
