Volunteers needed during the 11th Annual Spartan Sprint 5K
The NCC Spartan Sprint 5K Run/Walk is looking for volunteers. This great event (in it's 11th year) is put together by a small committee of NCC employees. All the proceeds go to the Spartan Aid account which helps students with supermarket gift cards, bus passes, gas gift cards, uniforms, utility payments, textbooks, etc.We need volunteers for the day of the race. You will need to arrive by 8:45 a.m. and will be done by 11:30 or 12:00 noon. Once you arrive, you will be assigned a task such as standing on the route to guide runners/walkers. The event is rain or shine, so you should come dressed for the weather. If you are unable to stand for the entire time (8:45 a.m. to 12:00 noon) you may bring a chair to sit on.
This event would not be possible without all our wonderful volunteers and we need a lot of them! This is a great opportunity to spend the morning doing something fun and helping our students out.
