The mission of the Community Education Program is to provide diverse, high-quality, lifelong learning opportunities for individuals, businesses, and community organizations. We are responsive, cost-effective, and innovative in our assessment, teaching, training, and consulting. Whether you are interested in learning a new language, new dance steps, or preparing to take a Notary exam, we have you covered. From our Horizons For Youth program to our UPDATE Adult Lecture Series, NCC's Community Education program serves all ages at all stages. NCC Fab Lab

Whether you’re prototyping new ideas, improving on existing ones or crafting for fun, our accomplished team of master craftsmen, entrepreneurs and expert technicians can guide you in an environment where innovation and inspiration thrive! Our 8,000sq. ft. facility in our Fowler Family Southside Center houses nine different fabrication areas, to accommodate any maker's dream.

The Pocono Innovation Hub houses different fabrication areas to accommodate the learning and innovation of students, faculty and community members. Our team of expert teachers and technicians will facilitate your learning, challenge your thinking and create an environment where mistakes are steppingstones to life-long learning!

Horizons for Youth

NCC’s Horizons for Youth program provides opportunities for kids to discover, explore, learn and have fun all year long. Students from kindergarten through high school participate in Horizons courses, workshops and summer camps at either of the two Bethlehem locations or the Pocono Campus. Courses focus on everything from academic enrichment, arts and crafts, cooking, science, athletics, and much more. There are also Parent and Kid courses where parents can participate in hands on activities with their kids.

ESL/GED Programs

The Center for College and Career Readiness has been delivering English as a Second Language and GED programs for over 30 years. Our classes prepare students to improve their English, obtain their GED®, enter employment, retain employment, and advance to postsecondary education and training.

We offer over 1,000 personal enrichment classes annually for all ages. With topics ranging from the arts to zumba, language skills to Notary Public, students can advance their professional development and personal enrichment skills at all three NCC campuses.

Host your next team building experience with us!

Combining learning with fun and come see what's cooking in our Fowler Kitchen, where you will prepare and share delicious meals with your colleagues under the tutelage of expert chefs. Reconnect and re-engage with your staff as we work with you to customize the perfect culinary class. Can't decide whether you want a Team Building experience in the kitchen or the Fab Lab?  Do both and craft a creative kitchen item, such as a cheeseboard and then learn how to pair cheeses with beverages in our kitchen.
