Taught by industry experts, NCC's Healthcare Education includes an important array of professional and paraprofessional healthcare continuing education courses, as well as accredited continuing education for nurses and personal care home administration. Available to individuals or through corporate training.

What We Offer

Effective bystander CPR provided immediately after sudden cardiac arrest can double or triple a victim’s chance of survival (heart.org). Northampton offers BLS/CPR/First Aid programs for individuals, families, healthcare professionals, community organizations and businesses including: 

  • AHA Heartsaver CPR AED
  • AHA Heartsaver First Aid
  • AHA Heartsaver First Aid, CPR, AED
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers - Renewal
  • Heartsaver Pediatric CPR and First Aid
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Core Instructor Course for those interested in being CPR instructors

Our programs are American Heart Association (AHA) certified and feature a two year certification.

 

All programs include the use of manikins which provide feedback, visual aids, and hands-on instruction, resulting in a more confident level of expertise.

Looking for on-site training for your organization? We can deliver training for 10 or more employees at a time that best accommodates your organization. Training will satisfy most OSHA requirements and includes a certification card. Funding assistance may also be available to eligible companies through WEDnetPA.  NCC is a WEDnetPA Training Partner.  Email healthcare@northampton.edu or call 610-332-6585 to learn more and schedule a training class.

Looking for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity? CBI - Healthcare Education has the programs to get you into the country's fastest growing industry in as little as five weeks* of training time. Participants must be at least 18 years of age and possess a High School Diploma or GED to enroll in most of the programs. Funding may be available to eligible participants through PA CareerLink® for select programs.

CBI Healthcare Education offers the programs that nurses need.  Whether you are recent graduate preparing for the NCLEX, a current nurse looking to fulfill your mandatory contact hours or a nurse who had a license but had it lapse and needs to complete a reactivation program to re-enter the workforce.
