Express your style and develop your voice in theatre arts through Northampton Community College’s Associate in Arts (AA) Theatre program. On our Bethlehem campus, you’ll perform, design stages, direct shows and exercise all kinds of production skills in our two on-campus theatres or around the Lehigh Valley. Expert faculty brings diverse experience in acting, directing, design, performance, speech communications, oral interpretation, education and children’s theatre.
She Kills Monsters is a drama-comedy play by Qui Nguyen that debuted in 2011. It tells the story of Agnes Evans, an average woman who loses her parents and little sister Tilly in a car accident.
Patrick Marber's adaptation of Henrik Ibsen's Hedda Gabler is a modern take on the classic drama, focusing on the psychological complexities of the titular character, Hedda, and her struggles with societal expectations and personal desires.
In Shirley, Vermont, Marty, an acting teacher, holds an Adult Creative Drama class at the local community center. The people who sign up for the class are Schultz, a recently divorced carpenter; Lauren, a reserved high school junior; Theresa, a former actor; and Marty's husband, James.
The Coast Starlight is a play by Keith Bunin about a young man named T.J. who boards the Los Angeles to Seattle train with a secret and the other passengers he encounters.
Carrie: The Musical tells the story of Carrie White, a bullied high school girl with telekinetic powers, and her oppressive, religious fanatic mother, Margaret.
