Pathways to Your Future

Take the First Step. We'll Walk with You.

You don’t need to have everything figured out to start college. At Northampton Community College, we believe your future is still full of possibilities — and we’re here to help you build a path forward with support, guidance, and real opportunities every step of the way.

Through the Pathways to Your Future program, NCC partners with Northampton County to help individuals prepare for successful reentry, continued education, and meaningful careers. The program combines career exploration, personal development, college readiness, and practical support services designed to help students transition confidently into their next chapter.

Whether you are exploring career goals, planning to earn a degree, or preparing for life after release, NCC can help you take the next step.

Start with These Simple Steps:

1. Think About Your Goals

  • What are you interested in?
  • What kind of future do you want?

Our program helps students explore career interests, identify strengths, and connect those strengths to real career pathways through guided activities and career assessments.

2. Connect With Us

Talk with the Pathways team. We’ll answer your questions, help you understand your options, and connect you to resources that make college feel manageable. Contact Molly Clarke at mclarke@northampton.edu or 610-332-6367 to get started.

3. Apply to NCC

We’ll walk you through the admissions process step by step with dedicated admissions navigation support and financial aid counseling.

4. Get Ready to Go

Choose classes. Make a plan. Get ready for day one.

Our team provides customized orientation, academic advising, and degree mapping so you know exactly where to go and who to turn to for support

NORCO Re-Start Scholarship

The NORCO Re-Start Scholarship helps support formerly incarcerated students who completed the Pathways to Your Future program and choose to continue their education at NCC. After other financial aid is applied, the scholarship can help cover remaining educational costs including tuition, fees, books, transportation, on-campus housing, and meal plans. Available for students enrolled in credit, non-credit, and certificate programs, the scholarship is designed to remove financial barriers and help students stay focused on building a successful future at NCC.

You Can Count on NCC for Support

At NCC, support goes beyond the classroom. We’re committed to helping students overcome barriers and succeed academically, personally, and professionally. Take advantage of our resources to get on the path to success from the start.

Housing

NCC’s residence halls provide students with a safe, supportive, and welcoming place to live while pursuing their education. Living on campus helps students stay connected to academic resources, campus activities, and a community of peers while building independence and confidence. Our goal is to create a living environment where students feel supported, engaged, and focused on their success both inside and outside the classroom.
