Week of the Young Child
Week of the Young Child EventTeachers, Families and Children (especially the children!) of Reibman Hall Children’s Center (Bethlehem) and the Hannig Family Children’s Center (Pocono) are excited about the annual celebration of Week of the Young Child during the week of April 8 through 12, 2024.
The Week of the Young Child is an annual celebration sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). According to NAEYC, “The Week of the Young Child is a time to recognize that children’s opportunities are our responsibilities, and to recommit ourselves to ensuring that each and every child experiences the type of early environment – at home, at child care, at school, and in the community – that will promote their early learning.” https://www.naeyc.org/events/woyc
