Keepers of the Way Documentary Screening

This event is free and open to the public

Join us as we honor Native American Heritage Month with a screening of “Keepers of the Way,” a film about the Lenape Nation, told by Lenape tribal leaders in Pennsylvania. Through storytelling and healing ceremonies, Lenape tribal leaders share the challenging spiritual journey that unfolds as they work to heal past wounds. They remind us that theirs is a story of resilience and courage as they tell the world, not only that they are still here, but that they never left.

We hope you can join us at the Bethlehem campus for the film, followed by a Q&A session with the film Director, Evan Cohen, and Lenape tribal leaders. If you cannot make it to campus, a Zoom option is available: https://zoomto.me/KeepersoftheWayDocumentary.

Our evening's program will include drumming by members of the Lenape nation, and food honoring the Native American culture: mini cranberry meatballs, chunky gazpacho and bean salad, and sunflower seed and corn cake. All made by NCC's very own Chef Char!

This event will be held in the Student Life Zone at College Center; follow the "Lenape Event" directional signs when you arrive on campus - you can also use this document to guide you: bit.ly/3CtA4c7
