NCC's Annual Humanities Keynote
Dr. Yusef Salaam, New York City councilman and member of "The Exonerated Five," will be the keynote speaker for NCC's Annual Humanities Program on April 15, 2025.
Salaam was tried and convicted in the “Central Park jogger” case along with four other Black and Latinx young men. After almost 7 years behind bars for a crime he did not commit, Salaam’s case was overturned, and he was set free.
