NCC Pocono Campus Debuts!

Northampton Community College’s (NCC) Monroe County campus has a new name. Ten years after opening the Tannersville location, the college has renamed it as the NCC Pocono campus and will refer to it as “The community college of the Pocono Mountains.

“This is an exciting change and a natural move for us that will help us take advantage of the strong recognition and positive associations that come with the Pocono Mountains,” said NCC President David A. Ruth, Ph.D. “We hope to work with the Pocono Mountain Visitors Bureau to help promote the campus and the broader area.”

“It’s the same great college with same great people but with a great new name. We believe the change will enhance our efforts to attract more students and build partnerships in the region as well.”

The new NCC Pocono campus name and logo will begin appearing throughout the area as the transition to the new name rolls out.
