EPAC Coach of the Year

Terrence Bomar, Northampton Community College (NCC) women’s basketball head coach and assistant director of admissions, has been named Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC) Coach of the Year.

Bomar, who led the Spartans to their 3rd consecutive EPAC title, is 48-21 overall since making his coaching debut after the pandemic in 2021. He guided the team back to national prominence in 2023, leading Northampton to its first Region 19 title since 2012 and a 12th place finish in the NJCAA National Tournament, in addition to the EPAC title.

The EPAC Coach of the Year award is Bomar's third, following his 2021-22 and 2022-23 honors.

"Thank you to everyone who nominated me. I also want to thank our women’s team, coaching staff, athletic staff, our fans, and families. It has been a rough ride this season on and off the court, but I am very thankful for the position I hold and the opportunity I have to serve at NCC,” said Bomar.
