MSCHE Reaffirms NCC's Accreditation

The Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) has announced reaffirmation of Northampton Community College’s (NCC) accreditation for the next 8-year cycle. This indicates that NCC is fulfilling its mission and goals by committing to continuous institutional improvement and student success. MSCHE assures students and the public of the educational quality for over 500 colleges and universities, ensuring institutional accountability, improvement and innovation through the accreditation process.

NCC hosted the MSCHE Evaluation Team from March 16-19 this year. During their time here, the team visited all three NCC campuses and engaged with a diverse range of NCC community members, including administrators, program heads, faculty, staff, and students. At the conclusion of their visit, the evaluation team presented their findings and recommendations for accreditation to the internal college community.

You may view NCC’s institutional profile here. The next reaccreditation will be in 2032-2033. The college is proud of this momentous achievement in higher education.
