Sonography Students Get Pinned This Summer

The Northampton Community College (NCC) diagnostic medical sonography Class of 2025 celebrated the completion of their program at the Pinning Ceremony. The ceremony was held on Monday, August 4 in the Lipkin Theater on Bethlehem campus honoring 16 graduates.  


 

Class of 2025: 

RDMS designates Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. Those who have taken and passed a specialty board exam prior to graduation are RDMS certified.

Many of these graduating students have already been hired at local healthcare facilities, such as St. Luke’s University Heatlh Network, Advanced Heart and Vascular Institute of Hunterdon, Atlantic Health System, Hackettstown Medical Center, Lehigh Valley Health Network, and more, pending the completion of their program – a huge accomplishment. 

 

Additionally, graduate Sharon Pineda was presented with the inaugural Tiana Baker Award for Kindness and Compassion in recognition of her outstanding compassion, excellence, and commitment to the sonography profession. 

 

Sonography Program Director, Sue Davidson, RDMS, says, “We’re thrilled to celebrate this year’s graduating cohort—the largest group we’ve ever had! We are incredibly proud of our newest sonographers and look forward to seeing the impact they’ll make in healthcare!”
