Northampton Community College (NCC) announced that it has recently partnered with Influxer in the name, image and likeness (NIL) space. Influxer works with over 42,000 student-athletes across more than 500 colleges and universities around the country, providing student-athletes with the opportunity to sell personalized merchandise with their school's officially licensed branding. For example, a student can make a profit off of sales from a jersey with a student's name and player number and Influxer branding.
NCC is the 1st community college in the area to do this, and the partnership in the NIL space is rare at this level.
"We are extremely excited to partner with Influxer to provide our student-athletes with the ability to enter the NIL space," stated Director of Athletics, Troy Tucker, "Creating these type of opportunities gives our current student-athletes and future recruits the access to the resources that Influxer provides so that they can become part of the NIL world in collegiate athletics."
Once an NCC student-athlete has opted into the store, Spartan fans will be able find the new apparel at the official Northampton Influxer store, as well as the student's own personalized site. All designs are approved by the college and are available in every student-athlete's own store in the same sport. The merchandise list includes hats, shirts, sweatshirts, jerseys, tumblers, and more, with new designs and products being rolled out throughout the year.
