Tucker Named Athletics Director of the Year

Executive Director of Athletics at Northampton Community College (NCC), Troy Tucker, was named the recipient of the Region 19 / Ron Case Athletics Director of the Year Award. 

Initiated in May 2016, the Region 19 Athletics Director of the Year Award is named in honor of former Rowan College at Gloucester County Director of Athletics, Ron Case, who was a vital member of Region 19 as women's director and treasurer and through service in hosting championships and chairing numerous committees. The award is given to a Region 19 athletics director for their commitment and contributions to their campus and community. 

Serving in his 34th year in college athletics, Tucker is a 5-time National Athletic Director of the Year (NACDA 2023; 2020; 2017; 2013 and NSCAA 1998)Tucker is the only 2-time recipient of the Region 19 Augie Eosso Award (2016, 2020), the highest honor that can be bestowed upon an administrator, for his commitment and dedication to Region 19. Tucker has also been honored as the recipient of the 2019 NJCAA Loyalty Award, 2023 NJCAA George E. Killian Award of Excellence, and the (NATYCAA) highest honor, the L. William Miller Award.  
 
“I am honored and humbled to be selected for this award,” remarked Tucker. “This recognition is a reflection of the incredible support I receive from my institution, student-athletes and coaching staff to go above and beyond in my role.”
