Northampton Community College (NCC) students who aim to earn a bachelor’s degree can seamlessly transfer into Elizabethtown College through the Dual Admissions Program under a new articulation agreement between the two institutions.
Students may complete their bachelor’s degree through Elizabethtown’s traditional on-campus programs or online through the School of Graduate and Professional Studies (SGPS). Under the agreement, eligible NCC students can begin to plan their transfer with access to college resources at Elizabethtown.
Students may apply to the Dual Admission Program after completing at least 15 credits, or within their first year at NCC, but they must apply before completing 45 college-level credits in an eligible transfer program.
"Dual admissions allows students to connect with their desired destination early, creating a direct line of communication to ease the stress and confusion that can often accompany the transfer process," says Michelle Lohman, assistant director of advising and transfer services.
