Meet The Artists
Katie Hovencamp
Katie has exhibited her work in numerous exhibitions within the United States, Europe, and Asia. Her work has been reviewed in Sculpture Magazine and the Chicago Reader. Hovencamp has participated in residency programs at Vermont Studio Center, Serde Interdisciplinary artist group in Latvia, and the Tyrone Guthrie Centre in Ireland. In 2016, she was awarded an artist residency with International Sculpture Center at Mana Contemporary in Jersey City, NJ. Among other institutions, Hovencamp is current adjunct faculty at Northampton Community College.
Josh Berk
Josh is the author of award-winning teen novels including The Dark Days of Hamburger Halpin, Strike Three You're Dead, and Camp Murderface. He is also a prolific musician, occasional journalist, co-creator of the BIG YIKES comic web series, and the Executive Director of the Bethlehem Area Public Library.
Sean Ford
Sean is a cartoonist, creator of the graphic novels Only Skin (published in the US by Secret Acres in 2012 and in France by Editions Rackham in 2013) and Shadow Hills (published by Secret Acres in 2023 and in France by Editions Delcourt in 2024) and a founding editor of the Best American Comics notable anthology Sundays. He received his B.S. from New York University, and his M.F.A. from the Center for Cartoon Studies. His comics and illustrations have appeared in Slate and Narratively. He has also worked as a book designer, designing titles by Malcolm Gladwell, Noah Van Sciver, Dan Simmons, Joshua Ferris, and Anita Shreve, among many others.
Katerina Lanfranco
Katerina has been represented by Nancy Hoffman Gallery in New York since 2006, and her work is held in collections including the Museum of Modern Art. Her work has been featured in publications such as The New York Times, ARTnews, and ARTinfo. She has participated in residency programs including the Japan-US Creative Exchange Fellowship Artist-in-Residence in Kyoto, Japan, Vermont Studio Center, Byrdcliffe Artist Residency (as a Pollock-Krasner Fellow), Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts Studio Program in collaboration with Flux Factory, Bascom Lodge, and Porphyry Island.
