The Tuition Assistance (TA) Program
The Tuition Assistance (TA) Program provides financial support to eligible military service members for voluntary, off-duty education in support of their academic and career goals.
Service members must request and receive approval through their branch’s education portal (e.g., ArmyIgnitED, AFVEC) prior to enrolling. Students should work closely with their Education Services Officer (ESO) or advisor to confirm eligibility and ensure proper use of TA.
Coordination of Benefits (TA, GI Bill®, and EAP)
Students using Tuition Assistance (TA) in combination with other education benefits—such as VA Education Benefits (including Chapter 33, Post-9/11 GI Bill®) or state programs like Pennsylvania’s Education Assistance Program (EAP)—must designate a primary and secondary benefit each term.
We strongly encourage students to consult with the Military-Affiliated Student Services Office prior to enrollment each term to ensure compliance and avoid unexpected balances or disruptions to benefits.
