Specialized Diploma
This new program will provide a two-semester pathway into entry level positions in the IT field. Students will gain expertise in PC support, data communication, networking hardware, operating systems, server administration, Linux administration as well as implementing security controls and troubleshooting issues.
Students will enhance their communication, teamwork, and other soft skills to prepare for their career through a variety of hands-on lab experience on real, in classroom lab equipment including time working with an in-class ticketing and inventory management system, Cisco routers and switches, and physical server hardware.
The courses also assist students in preparing to take industry recognized computer certification exams (CompTIA A+, Network+, Linux+, Security+ and Microsoft AZ-800).
Certificate
NCC’s relationships with local employers led to the creation of this new certificate program, which was designed to fill an identified workforce need. This program targets positions supporting the Industrial Automation field – a field in high demand!
Local employers have been searching for skilled Maintenance Mechanics at a rate exceeding our graduating numbers for several years. This program will deliver the key skills employers indicate they need in current and new employees.
Completion of this certificate program can also contribute towards NCC’s Industrial Maintenance Millwright associate degree.
Specialized Diploma
The hospitality industry is evolving and so are the opportunities within it. Whether you’re interested in planning corporate meetings, orchestrating large-scale events, or managing entertainment experiences, NCC’s brand new Meeting and Entertainment Specialist specialized diploma will equip you to thrive in this dynamic and creative field.
From intimate business meetings to extravagant productions, you’ll learn to lead, strategize, and execute from experienced industry professionals.
AAS
NCC’s Counseling Psychology associate in applied science degree program has been restructured and rebranded to support our students’ academic and career goals. The program now provides a broader foundation in behavioral health, preparing our students to support individuals facing life challenges and psychological disorders across the lifespan.
Students in this program have flexible experiential learning options, including a service learning experience and internship, to grow their hands-on experience. Every course in the program can now be completed online, allowing students to pursue their education with maximum flexibility.
AAS, Specialized Diploma or Certificate
This collection of stackable credentials has been rebranded to meet industry needs and the career interests of our students. Students looking to launch their careers in the healthcare industry will find flexible options, hands-on experience opportunities, and state-of-the-art equipment and software throughout these programs.
Prepare to support healthcare teams and implement practices and strategies that create well-run office environments.
Specialized Diploma
The hospitality industry is fast-paced, dynamic, and full of opportunities. NCC’s Hotel, Restaurant, and Event Management specialized diploma is now available fully online in a self-paced 15-week format, making it the perfect option for working professionals looking to elevate their careers without disrupting their schedules.
