The Career Development Center is proud to partner with NCC faculty and staff to support students in every stage of their career journey.

Your guidance and support of students is instrumental in helping students understand and use the services and resources of Career Development, including exploring majors, gaining experience through internships and job shadowing, and preparing for further education or the job market.

As you will see below, we offer a variety of programs, classroom presentations, workshops, online tools, and career advising strategies for students.

Your encouragement, insight, and collaboration play a vital role in shaping students’ future success.

Integrate Career Development and Career Readiness Into the Curriculum

We encourage you to make career development a part of your syllabus. Here are some ideas we recommend.

Don’t Cancel Class. If you are expecting to miss a class, we can deliver a career development presentation instead. Contact us to schedule one of our career professionals.
Require students to get their resume, cover letter or LinkedIn profile reviewed by Career Development.
Have students conduct a mock interview with a staff member from Career Development.
Encourage students to attend career events such as career fairs, workshops, and career panels.
