Luthier Program

Discover the craft of luthiery at NCC’s Martin Guitar Foundation Luthier Lab. Guided by expert instructors, students build acoustic and electric guitars while learning woodworking, hand carving, inlay, CNC machining and traditional and modern construction techniques. OSHA training and brand strategy development provide additional skills to help aspiring luthiers turn their craftsmanship into a career.

Guitar Amplifier Program

NCC’s 13-week Guitar Amplifier Program combines creativity, engineering and business through practical, full-time training. Students explore tube and solid-state amplifier design while building professional-grade amplifiers and custom speaker cabinets. With guidance from expert instructors, they develop skills in circuit analysis, soldering, fabrication, diagnostics and testing.

Guitar Technician Training

NCC’s seven-week, full-time Guitar Technician Training Program turns a passion for guitars into practical, job-ready skills. Students learn setups, maintenance, common repairs, electronics, wiring and soldering using real instruments and scenarios. Career and leadership training also prepares graduates for music shop employment, entrepreneurship or growth in guitar technology.
