Facilities

Reibman Hall Children’s Center, located in Bethlehem and Hannig Family Children’s Center, located in Tannersville feature mixed age groupings for children 2 years to kindergarten entry. The centers serve as a Building Inclusive Child Care (BICC) Demonstration Site highlighting Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and family centered practices.

In addition we feature an arts-based curriculum, called Art as a Way of Learning®, which fosters cognitive, physical, and social/emotional growth as well as creative expression. Our programs have earned a top rating from Pennsylvania's Keystone STARS program and is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Both programs include high-quality, aesthetically pleasing classroom environments and natural landscape playgrounds. Hannig Family Children’s Center includes an art studio.

Each room in our facilities contains equipment that is designed to stimulate and support children's learning. Materials meet all safety standards. They are chosen carefully to be aesthetically pleasing and meet children's individual developmental, cultural and educational needs.

Both centers are open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. We follow the Northampton Community College calendar emergency and holiday closings.

We encourage parents to take a tour of one of our facilities before deciding to enroll their child. To arrange a tour of the Hannig Center, please contact Faye Freer at 570.369.1861 or ffreer@northampton.edu. To tour Reibman Hall, contact Denise Madzik at 610.861.4542 or dmadzik@northampton.edu.
